National Lottery Community Fund support for Rumbletums

Thanks to a generous grant from the National Lottery Community Fund, we have been able to carry out essential repair works on our roof — helping us to keep our building safe, warm and welcoming for everyone who uses it. This vital funding means we can continue providing a welcoming space where our community can come together, learn, and thrive.
The work is now complete, with a new rubber roof replacing the existing tarmac roofing material, which was leaking and causing damage, and a new hatch replacing the old, damaged hatch. We were very keen to complete this work as we have invested a lot of money in the fabric of the building in the last few years, to ensure that it is suitable for our training program, for our customers and for the community who use the building. Thanks to the grant, we were able to do this without diverting funds away from our important training work for young people with a learning disability.
We’re incredibly grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund for their support and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who plays the National Lottery – you make a real difference to communities like ours every day!
